Prof Teh Bin Tean is the Research Director of NCCS. His laboratory has been focusing on Asian cancers with seminal discoveries in the field of herbal carcinogen-related cancers, breast fibroepithelial tumours and cholangiocarcinoma (biliary tract cancer). His works have led him to be the recipient of SingHealth Distinguished Researcher Award in 2015, the Singapore President’s Science Award 2015, the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) 2018 Team Science Award and 2019 AACR Annual Meeting Plenary Lectureship.

Prof Teh has served as a member on the editorial boards of numerous biomedical journals including Science Translational Medicine, Cancer Research, Lancet Oncology, Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, Molecular Cancer Therapeutics. He has held membership of scientific advisory boards and adjunct professorships of numerous international institutions. To date, Prof Teh has contributed to over 400 original publications, book chapters and reviews.
