Ms TAN Wan Har Lydia

Changi General Hospital (CGH)

Ms Lydia Tan currently leads the Office of Innovation at Changi General Hospital (CGH) in Singapore.  Her office is responsible for fostering close partnership with key stakeholders to spearhead, conceptualise and manage various innovation programmes. In this process, she leads the engagement with educational institutions, government agencies and industry partners in carrying out innovative projects across the healthcare continuum. This includes the administration of grants, management of innovation projects and technology transfer to derive optimal clinical, operational and economic values.


Prior to her appointment at CGH, Lydia spent over five years in Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore as Director, Sponsored Research. Lydia has served in government funding agencies for over 15 years. She has contributed greatly in formulating national research strategies and implementing research policies during her stints in Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the Ministry of Health’s National Medical and Biomedical Research (NMRC) respectively. Lydia is currently an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD).
