Dr Sim Kang is Psychiatrist and Senior Consultant at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore, and an Associate Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

Apart from his clinical and teaching duties, he has a keen interest in psychiatric research focusing on pharmacoepidemiology, clinical phenotyping, and better understanding of the neural basis of patients with severe psychiatric illnesses. He has published over 250 research papers, contributed several book chapters as well as served as a reviewer for many international, peer reviewed journals.
