Assoc Prof Benjamin Seah is a Consultant, Orthopaedic Surgeon in SKH, with a subspecialty interest in complex shoulder and elbow surgery. He currently holds clinical appointments in NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore. He is one of three Regional Programme Contributors to AOTrauma ORP. Assoc Prof Seah previously graduated from the University College London, United Kingdom and was awarded the University College London-Singapore Undergraduate Scholarship.
Assoc Prof Seah has spent time at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, United Kingdom and underwent a Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship at Flinders University and Medical Centre, Australia. Upper limb pathologies and surgeries of interest include the latarjet procedure for recurrent shoulder instability, shoulder and elbow arthroplasty and arthroscopy, complex fractures and elbow ligamentous injuries.
Assoc Prof Seah is committed to pushing the frontiers in the management of shoulder and elbow conditions, with ongoing research in novel solutions to shoulder pathologies and post-operative rehabilitation. He performs endoscopic olecranon bursectomy and has set up the novel 4-dimensional imaging for the diagnosis and surgical planning of complex elbow pathologies.
