Senior Principal Radiographer, Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH)

Dr Ooi Chin Chin is a Senior Principal Radiographer in the Radiography Department at SGH. She specialises in ultrasound modality and has over 20 years of experience in clinical sonography. She completed her PhD in Medical Imaging from the Monash University, Australia in 2015. Her research focuses on the application of ultrasound elastography in the diagnosis and treatment monitoring of musculo-tendinous problems.

Dr Ooi is the Research Lead for Radiography Department. She has also been appointed Associate Professor at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). In both capacities, she has played key leadership roles in promoting research and education excellence among the allied health professionals. She is currently the Director of the Postgraduate Sonography Programme in SIT. 

She is a passionate educator, presenting regularly at local and national conferences as well as conducting workshops for diagnostic ultrasound professionals.
