Clinical Assoc Prof Christina SIM Poh Choo

Cl Assoc Prof Christina Sim is a Senior Consultant at the Prosthodontic Unit, Department of Restorative Dentistry, NDCS. She graduated with a BDS degree from the National University of Singapore and obtained an MSc degree from the University of London. She received further training in dental implantology and aesthetic dentistry at Loma Linda University under a Ministry of Health Manpower Development Plan award. In 2018, she obtained her PhD degree from the University of Melbourne under a National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Research Training Fellowship.


Cl Assoc Prof Sim’s work profile is divided between clinical, education and research. Currently, she is a Clinical Associate Professor, involved in the graduate prosthodontics residency programme at the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS. She is also a member of the Dental Specialist Accreditation Committee for Prosthodontics. As Director of Clinical Research in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Oral Health Academic Clinical Programme, she is involved in the development of NDCS’ research capabilities in conducting translational and clinical research.
