Mr Cheong Siah Chong is founder of Mdesign Solutions, an established product design and technology translator in Singapore since 2004.  He has 35 years of product creation experience and more than 10 patents filed under his name. He is involved in 20 medical devices development from concept to full production.

Mr Cheong is also a key instructor for an established technology market validation programme – Lean Launch Pad (LLP) since 2014 in National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and Singapore University of Technology and Design.

In 2019, he founded Gill-Lab, with the patent pending product GillTM Mask, a reusable respirator that aims to protect the front-line healthcare workers during challenging situtations, such as the worldwide mask shortage during COVID-19.
