Dr Bien Lai is the current Head of Paediatric Dentistry Unit at the NDCS. After graduating from NUS, she obtained a scholarship to specialise in paediatric dentistry at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Besides clinical service, she is involved in postgraduate teaching and supervises residents’ research. Her research interests are in early childhood caries, baby oral health and access to care.
