Assoc Prof Andrew Chin Yuan Hui is the current Director of Wrist Services at the Department of Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery, SGH. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at both the Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore and the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Assoc Prof Chin is also the Chairman of the Joint Co-ordinating Committee of the Hand Surgery Integrated Residency Programme in Singapore that oversees the conduct of training and curriculum competency of the Hand Surgery Residency Programme in Singapore.

He is actively involved as Speaker and Faculty in the teaching and education circuit for the Asia Pacific Wrist Association (APWA), the International Wrist Arthroscopy Society (IWAS), Singapore Society for Hand Surgery (SSHS) and the AOTrauma (Orthopaedic Trauma) organisation. He sits on the executive board of APWA and also in the IWAS board as the Course Co-ordinator for South Asia region.

Assoc Prof Chin is also a Regional Education Training Team member for AO Asia Pacific. He has extensive clinical experience in the field of wrist surgery for the past 15 years following fellowship in 2006-7 at centres of excellence in Europe under the tutelage of renown wrist surgeons, the late Prof John Stanley and Dr Marc Gracia-Elias.
