In the clinical domain, Dr Nigel Tan is an adult neurologist in Neurology, NNI with an interest in epilepsy. He did his epilepsy fellowship in Melbourne, Australia, with Prof Sam Berkovic and Prof Ingrid Scheffer.

In the education realm, Dr Tan graduated with a Masters of Health Professions Education in 2013. He was previously Education Director NNI and Vice Chair (Education) of Neuroscience ACP. He is currently Group Chief Education Officer for Singhealth, Senior Associate Dean (MD Programme) for Duke-NUS Medical school, and Co-Chair of the Academic Medicine Education Institute (AMEI) of Singhealth-DukeNUS. His areas of interest in education are in assessment, clinical reasoning and interprofessional education and collaborative practice.
