Yin Tong is Managing Partner of Foo Kon Tan LLP, an accounting and advisory firm, and has held several roles and positions in his career. He is responsible for the overall strategy and stewardship in the firm and leads a disciplined team of dedicated professionals.

Yin Tong graduated with first class honours in Economics from the London School of Economics. He is an accountant by training and profession and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and its past president. He is also past president of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants. His areas of practice include litigation support, dispute resolution and acting as expert witness. He has given evidence in Singapore, the UK, Malaysia and Thailand.

He is Chairman of Sport Singapore (Singapore Sports Council). Yin Tong is an avid sports fan and is a qualified rugby coach. He was awarded the Public Service Medal in 2021.

HM 26 -  Leadership lessons from Sport

Yin Tong will share some leadership traits observed from his role as chair of SportSG. He will also share leadership lessons that can also be picked up from the wider sporting world, sports persons and sport events in Singapore and elsewhere. He will show models of good leadership through everyday examples, reinforcing simple messages.
