Jude is AVP, Group Sustainability at IHH Healthcare, Asia's largest private healthcare network, where he has worked on the group's net zero journey across more than 85 hospitals and 10 countries over the last 3 years. His focus spans environmental sustainability, implementing decarbonisation strategy, managing climate risks and Scope 3 supplier engagement.

Before IHH, Jude spent a decade in MINDEF and the SAF in operational roles, leading large-scale project implementation within the Army and managing resource policies for MINDEF.

A biochemist by training and a systems thinker by instinct, he holds First Class Honours from McGill University and a Master's from MIT, where his thesis modelled Singapore's energy landscape over a 90-year horizon under different national policy conditions.

He is a father of two and believes the future ahead will be better if we bring greater stewardship to our collective actions.

HM 2 - Building a Future-Ready Healthcare Supply Chain: From Climate Impact to Collective Action

BIHH Healthcare shares a practitioner's perspective on building a future-ready healthcare supply chain through sustainability, collaboration and innovation. The session explores the growing health impacts of climate change and why sustainability matters increasingly for healthcare organisations.

It highlights IHH's early Scope 3 emissions journey, including efforts to engage suppliers and assess their sustainability maturity. The session offers a sharing on the efforts and challenges of measuring value chain emissions, from imperfect data to the practical work of bringing suppliers along the transition.

It will also elaborate on how collaboration with banks, SMEs, NGOs and national programmes can simplify Scope 3 reporting and strengthen environmental stewardship.
