Dr Tan Tai Kiat

Dr Tan Tai Kiat is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of SingHealth Community Hospitals; and COO, Environmental Sustainability, at SingHealth (Singapore Health Services). He has more than 20 years of work experience in public transport and healthcare.
Dr Tan obtained his PhD in Gerontology from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), under the Alice Lim Memorial Fund Scholarship. His first degree was in economics from the National University of Singapore. He was the first recipient of the Singapore-London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Postgraduate Scholarship, where he graduated with MSc in Public Policy and Administration.
Dr Tan received the Public Service Medal and the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) (COVID-19), SingHealth Distinguished Young Leader Award, National University of Singapore Outstanding Young Alumni Award, and Friend of Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports Award for his contributions to the community and healthcare.
