LAYYI is a zennial from sunny Singapore who has a soulful Ari-like tone of voice and makes a sweet combination of Pop, Rhythm & Blues (R&B), and singer-songwriter tunes with her guitar. With a flare for speaking her truth through music, she broke into the music scene in 2021 as a solo artist with “Hey Love”, that has currently garnered 1.5 million streams on Spotify, and has built up an audience of a whopping 201k monthly listeners. She was also recently featured in New York Times Square as Spotify’s EQUAL Campaign Ambassador for Singapore and Malaysia.
Her sophomore EP “life(?)” freshly released in January 2025 has already garnered 1 million streams on Spotify and is continuing to grow in numbers today.
