Jeffrey Kraut is a nationally recognised expert in health policy and strategic planning with over four decades of experience shaping the future of healthcare. As Executive Vice President, Startegy at Northwell Health, New York's largest healthcare provider, he leads system-wide strategic planning, focussing on enterprise growth. His team is known for developing innovative tools that leverage large datasets and community health planning market data. Jeffrey has been instrumental in Northwell's expansion, inclusing the merger and integretion of 28 hospitals and the development of a network containing over 1,000 ambulatory sites.

A key figure in New York State health policy, Jeffrey has served under five governors. As Chair of the New York State Public Health and Health Planning Council, he oversees regulatory, health planning, and Certificate of Need activities. He also serves on the board of the New York eHealth Collaborative, playing a pivotal role in developing the Statewide Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY) and advocating for health data interoperability to empower patients and inform government policy.

Jeffrey's leadership extends to Northwell Ventures, guiding early-stage healthcare and technology investments. He also contributes to regional economic planning as a board member of the Long Island Regional Planning Council and has led collaborative efforts to redesign care delivery for safety net providers serving vulnerable communities.

His contributions have earned him the American Hospital Association's Leadership Excellence Award from the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, the highest national honour for healthcare strategists. He is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine, a board member of the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council, and has served on the boards of numerous other professional, academic, and community-based organisations.
