There are many formal training courses in leadership but none of these can fully prepare you for the diverse challenges that will surely be part of a leadership journey.  As important as it is to have a clear vision and strategy, several key attributes help ensure continued success despite unexpected difficulties. Adaptability, bold decision-making, unwavering commitment, and a dogged determination are examples of these attributes.

Beyond the term of active leadership, a smooth leadership transition is critical and post-leadership contributions to continue to contribute effectively need to be carefully considered.
