Mr Gaurav Keerthi is the CEO of StrongKeep, a cybersecurity startup building innovative AI-driven tools that help smaller organisations achieve compliance and resilience—at a fraction of the cost. He is passionate about democratizing cybersecurity, enabling SMEs to meet growing regulatory demands without the complexity or overhead traditionally required. 

Previously, Mr Gaurav was the Head of Advisory and Emerging Business at Ensign InfoSecurity, where he helped boards and C-suites navigate digital risks. Before that, he served as Deputy Chief Executive of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and as the nation’s Deputy Commissioner for Cybersecurity, shaping national cyber defence strategies and frameworks, and representing Singapore at the United Nations. 

A retired Brigadier General in the Republic of Singapore Air Force, Gaurav was also its Chief Information Officer. He currently serves as an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies. 

Mr Gaurav holds degrees from Stanford and Harvard, where he was awarded the prestigious Littauer Award.

HM 20 - Improving Our Cyber Health: Understanding Digital Threats, Risks, and Rules
As digital transformation accelerates in healthcare, so too do the risks. In this session, Gaurav Keerthi, CEO of StrongKeep and Singapore’s former Deputy Commissioner for Cybersecurity , will draw on his deep regulatory, operational, and international experience to unpack the evolving cyber threat landscape facing healthcare professionals today. 

Mr Gaurav will share real-world case studies of cyber incidents digital systems, and offer practical insights into how such attacks unfold—and how they can be prevented. He will also examine the opportunities and vulnerabilities introduced by emerging technologies such as AI, connected medical devices, and even quantum computing. He will also touch on the cybersecurity aspects of the upcoming Healthcare Information Bill, helping practitioners understand its implications and how to prepare for compliance without disrupting care delivery.

With a global perspective shaped by years advising governments, military, and major companies, Gaurav will help healthcare leaders build resilience where it matters most—protecting trust and safety in an increasingly digital world.
