Dr Elaine Quek is the Chief Specialist for Treatment & Distribution System at the Water Quality Department at PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency. She leads three teams in monitoring and assessing the water quality of all treated water supplied by PUB from plants to the customers, including desalinated water and NEWater.

Prior to her current role, Dr Quek had undertaken different roles within PUB, which included policy and planning of water infrastructure, management of a water treatment plant, as well as research and development in the water sector.
