Call for Abstracts

Abstract submission is now OPEN ! 

Note: Please read through all the guidelines before submitting your abstract.

Instructions

1. All submissions must be completed in Word format and submitted to the Forum secretariat at ask@singhealthacademy.edu.sg by 16 June 2026. All received abstracts will be acknowledged. 
2. All abstracts must be written in the English language and no longer than 300 words.
3. Submission should contain work that has not been previously published and/or presented before.
4. Submission of abstract must be work completed in the last 3 years (2022 – 2025). 
5. There is no limit to the number of abstracts an author or group of authors may submit.
6. Abstracts will be considered for oral or poster presentation only.

Submission Guidelines

The following are guidelines for the submission of abstracts:

1. Tables, figures, and graphs are not allowed in the abstract.
2. The files should not be password protected.Additional coding should be removed.
3. All files should be sent back to the secretariat in Word Doc format.
4. Please limit your abstract to 300 words or less.
5. Check that there are no conversion errors in Word files, especially foreign characters, and mathematical symbols.
6. Define abbreviations at their first mention. Thereafter, abbreviations may be used freely. Standard abbreviations such as CXR, ECG, p-value < are allowed.
7. Failure to comply with these requirements may exclude the abstract from consideration.
8. Full names and affiliated institutions of all authors need to be submitted with the abstract.

The abstract should comprise of the following:

• Title
• Author names:  First and last name(s).  Full names are preferred.
• A structured abstract is preferred for empirical studies. For abstracts discussing methods, policy, ethics or social issues, an unstructured format is acceptable.
• The following headings should be used: Title, Background / Aims / Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions.

3. Environmental/Equipment Hygiene
4. Hand Hygiene
5. Healthcare/Device Associated Infections
6. Infection Prevention in Special Services
7. Multidrug Resistant Organisms
8. New and Emerging Infections in Healthcare
9. Outbreak/Cluster Management
10. Quality Improvement, Innovation or Research in Infection Prevention
11. Waste Management
12. Sustainability
