About the Forum

Dear colleagues,

Welcome to our 2nd SHS Infection Prevention & Control Forum on 13 & 14 October 2026. It will focus on the theme of "Infection Prevention & Control: Now and Tomorrow”, bringing together healthcare professionals to explore both current challenges and future innovations in our field.

Building on the success of our inaugural forum, this year’s forum focuses on the dynamic evolution of infection prevention and control practices. We will navigate the evolving landscape of infection prevention and control, sharing insights on today's best practices while looking ahead to emerging technologies and methodologies that will shape our profession in the years to come.

The forum will feature poster and oral presentations on achievements made in the IPC programmes in the various institutions. These submissions will offer delegates practical insights and inspire new approaches to infection prevention challenges across diverse healthcare settings.

We anticipate two productive days of professional exchange and look forward to your active participation in advancing our collective understanding of infection prevention and control.
