Critical and Emergency Preparedness Nursing Course (Burns)
This course is designed for Registered Nurse as part of emergency preparedness in handling national mass casualty incidents and nurses should be equipped with the essential knowledge, skills and experience to provide safe, holistic and quality care to patients with burns management.
At this course, participants will learn to:
Apply the nursing process in delivering safe, holistic and quality patient care in emergency/critical and burns department during mass casualty situation
Apply critical thinking skills and strategies in the provision of care in the management of emergency/critical and burns nursing.
Perform standard and specialised nursing care activities and treatment procedures that will meet patients’ needs in emergency/critical and burns nursing.
Target Audience
Participants must be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident of Singapore (SPR) with at least 1 year Post-registration experience as Registered Nurse
Exclusion Criteria
Nurses with Advanced Diploma in Emergency, Critical Care, Medical and Surgical Nursing
