Critical incidents are usually sudden and unexpected. Most people will experience some degree of psychological and emotional impact when faced with an unusually challenging event.
This ReXilience® course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to provide one-on-one crisis support to individuals experiencing stress and crisis reactions that typically arise after a crisis incident.
Opportunities are provided to practise these skills during the course.

- SingHealth staff who want to be able to provide initial psychological help to other individuals experiencing stress/distress after a critical incident.

- Identify the signs and symptoms of stress and crisis reactions
- Apply the CARE framework to provide crisis support to individuals experiencing crisis reactions
- Guide a person in distress towards professional help when needed
- Practise self-care as one recognises the impact of crisis support work
