It is created by the AMEI Professional Development Committee (PDC) with the intent to provide a structured framework to guide educator development, aligned to a shared mental model of the different educator roles we play.

The Academic Education Institute (AMEI) synergises the educational expertise of Duke-NUS and SingHealth to form a community of passionate interprofessional educators and leaders in education.

The Faculty Development (FD) Grant Call provides a harmonised application process to support healthcare professionals in attending programmes that enhance their teaching and clinical education skills, such as educational courses, conferences, and training initiatives.
It optimises and prioritises funding sources, including Residency and PECT faculty development funds. Medical professionals should apply through their Academic Clinical Programme (ACP), while Allied Health, Nursing, and Pharmacy professionals should apply through their respective Colleges during regular funding cycles.
