AMEI Educator Development Framework (EDF)

The Educator Development Framework (EDF) is a framework designed by educators, for all healthcare educators within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. It is created by the AMEI Professional Development Committee (PDC) with the intent to provide a structured framework to guide educator development, aligned to a shared mental model of the different educator roles we play.

AMEI Educator Pathway (EP)

The Educator Pathway (EP) is a framework designed by educators, for all healthcare educators within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). Created by the AMEI Centre for Clinician Educator Development, it provides a shared mental model charting the stages of healthcare educators' progression and seeks to guide our personal growth and development.

AMEI

The Academic Education Institute (AMEI) synergises the educational expertise of Duke-NUS and SingHealth to form a community of passionate interprofessional educators and leaders in education. 

AMEI offers educators' development programmes tailored to different levels of clinician educators, whether you are a doctor, nurse, allied health professional, oral health professional or healthcare administrator, and regardless of the years of teaching experience you have.

Faculty Development Grant Call

The Faculty Development (FD) Grant Call provides a harmonised application process to support healthcare professionals in attending programmes that enhance their teaching and clinical education skills, such as educational courses, conferences, and training initiatives.

It optimises and prioritises funding sources, including Residency and PECT faculty development funds. Medical professionals should apply through their Academic Clinical Programme (ACP), while Allied Health, Nursing, and Pharmacy professionals should apply through their respective Colleges during regular funding cycles.

2026 Schedule of Application

• For Residency FD Fund, AMEI FD Package, Tan Yew Hock FD Fund, Pre-Employment Clinical Training (PECT) FD Fund
• Staff who are interested to tap on faculty development funding will have to apply for the Harmonised Grant Call application.
• Details are available through your respective ACP or College. 
• ALL Medical FD fund applications for FY26 External-Overseas Conferences to be submitted in Cycle 1
