Emotional Intelligence Mastery for Healthcare Professionals (EIMHP)
About the Programme
The healthcare sector is a challenging industry to work in. Healthcare workers are expected to always remain professional, in the face of the various difficulties and demands that await them in their daily duties. New healthcare professionals transiting from their roles to formal staff tend to experience higher levels of work-related stress, resulting in adaptation issues.
Transition support is therefore essential to help these novice healthcare professionals manage the complexity and uncertainty of the work demands, and to help them manage their perceived lack of control and disorientation. This would also help them to assimilate into their new roles and new environments.
Revamped from the previous Essential Management Skills Programme (EMSP), the Emotional Intelligence Mastery for Healthcare Professionals (EIMHP) is a 3.5-day workshop incorporated new and enhanced content that are important and relevant to the healthcare industry.
