SingHealth Allied Health
Education Mentoring Programme

The SingHealth Allied Health Education Mentoring Programme provides Allied Health professionals access to experienced mentors in the education domain, who can contribute to their professional and personal development.

The programme serves as a platform for mentees who are passionate about education or seeking education as a career option to re-assess and build new knowledge, skills and attributes through 1-1 mentoring relationship with mentors who will be role models and provide guidance to them in the education domain.

Mentors also enjoy a rewarding experience through guiding, inspiring and encouraging their mentees and helping them succeed in the mentoring journey. It also offers them the opportunity to build their network and to gain valuable perspectives on career and professional growth.

Programme Objectives:

  • Nurture Allied Health Professionals to develop capacity and capability to achieve education excellence
  • Facilitate career guidance, professional development, and personal enrichment in health professions education
  • Build and support a community of Allied Health educators

Programme Format:

  • Mentors and mentees are matched based on area of interest(s) in education, clinical practice and area of expertise and preference. Mentees will browse through a list of mentors and select their preferred mentors.
  • Mentors and mentees will be introduced to each other during a networking session organised by College of Allied Health, prior to the official launch of the mentoring programme.
  • Each mentor-mentee pair can arrange to meet at their own discretion for the entire duration of the programme.
  • The programme administration team at CAH will be in contact with mentor-mentee pairs regularly to seek feedback and provide support.
