2nd Annual Forum on the Use of Evidence-Based Traditional Chinese Medicine in Western Medicine Practice

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Forum on the Use of Evidence-Based Traditional Chinese Medicine in Western Medicine Practice!

After a successful Inaugural Forum on the Use of Evidence-Based TCM in Western Medicine Practice held in July 2025, attended by more than 400 Medical doctors, TCM practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals, and healthcare administrators, we are now ready for the 2nd Forum. This will be held on 12 July 2026, Sunday, at Academia, Singapore General Hospital Campus.

We are honoured to bring together healthcare professionals from both Modern Western Medicine (MWM) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for this event. The Forum will again bring together healthcare professionals to share knowledge, ideas, and a wealth of exciting topics on using Evidence-based Traditional Chinese Medicine in Western Medicine Practice.

Evidence-based medicine (EBM) has long been the cornerstone of MWM practice, ensuring best treatment outcome based on clinical evidence of efficacy and safety. By introducing Evidence-Based Traditional Chinese Medicine (EBTCM), we're creating a synergy that promises to revolutionise healthcare. This integration not only offers an edge to practitioners but also provides patients with more comprehensive and holistic treatment options.

This forum is a unique opportunity for MWM Practitioners (MWMPs) and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (TCMPs) to meet, understand each other, and dispel any doubts or misconceptions. Our goal is to foster interest and mutual support, working towards the shared vision of a Healthier Singapore. We are particularly proud that this is the second event of its kind organised by 2 respected academic institutions, with participation of NHG Health and NUHS.
