Dr Zhao yan holds the position of Vice President of the Academy of Chinese Medicine Singapore. She is also a Senior Lecturer at the Nanyang Technology University, School of Biological Sciences.  In addition, she is a full-time faculty member in the Department of TCM in NTU.  Dr Zhao has been involved in research, education and clinical practice related to diabetes and gynaecology for over 32 years. she is a consultant TCM physician and researcher, and has published over 20 papers in peer-reviewed medical/Scientific journals.
