Dr (TCM) Lim Yi Chuan is the General Secretary of Academy of Chinese Medicine, Singapore (ACMS). Dr Lim has been involved in TCM research, education and clinical work throughout his career in TCM, holding various appointments in both local and overseas TCM societies and institutions like the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board, Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Singapore Chung Hwa Medical Institution and ACMS. He obtained his PhD from the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, under the tutelage of Professor Li Sai Mei, an expert in Chinese Medicine, renowned for treating diabetes and metabolic related diseases.
