Dr (TCM) Lam Man Sze is an acupuncturist at Changi General Hospital and a member of the CGH Early Clinician Scientist and Innovator Programme. She holds a PhD in Acupuncture and Tuina from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and has over a decade of experience as a TCM physician. Her research interests centre on neurodegenerative diseases—particularly Alzheimer’s dementia—where she aims to advance evidence‑informed acupuncture approaches that may enhance cognitive outcomes and patient quality of life. Dr Lam serves on the SingHealth TCM Research and Education Committee and is a clinical examiner for the TCM Practitioners Board licensing examinations. An active community volunteer since 2014, she serves as a first responder with the St John Responder Unit and an associate instructor with the Singapore Red Cross Academy. She also participates regularly in overseas medical missions to Nepal and India, where she provides free acupuncture services to underserved communities and delivers acupuncture training to lamas and anis practising Tibetan medicine.
