Hartini Bte Osman is an Assistant Director of Nursing at Singapore General Hospital, recognised for her leadership in care transformation, workforce development, and staff well‑being. With a strong background in acute medical services, she has led innovative care redesigns that strengthened patient‑centred practices, enhanced multidisciplinary collaboration, and improved operational outcomes. A passionate advocate for workforce wellness, Hartini serves as the Nursing Lead for SGH’s Office of Wellbeing.

In this role, she drives staff engagement initiatives, leads the Nursing Peer Support Network, and represents SGH at the SingHealth cluster level to promote a cohesive, supportive workplace culture. Her interests also extend to preparing nurses for active ageing and meaningful retirement, reflecting her belief in supporting healthcare professionals across the full career lifespan. Currently, Hartini oversees the Isolation Wards at SGH, building capabilities in disease preparedness while continuing her mission to nurture a resilient, engaged nursing workforce—because sustainable patient care begins with caring for those who care.
