Dr Tracy Carol Ayre is Chief Nurse at the Singapore General Hospital, as well as Group Chief Nurse, SingHealth. She obtained her PhD from the University of Melbourne, with her thesis centring on nurse staffing and its relationship to patient, staff and organisational outcomes. As a nursing leader, she is pivotal in strategising and implementing nursing initiatives that meet the organisation’s goals and vision. Her passion is for delivering quality patient care, and she believes in empowering her nurses to do their best. She has won numerous awards for her commitment and contributions to the nursing profession, including the President’s Award for Nurses and the National Day Commendation Medal.
