Dr Poh Seng Yew is currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Sports Medicine Service, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Singapore General Hospital. He also holds concurrent positions as Adj Assistant Professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and Adj Assistant Professor, Duke-NUS Medical School. He undertook a one-year Clinical Hip and Sports Medicine Fellowship in Orthopädische Chirurgie München, Germany. He has special interests in hip preservation surgery, including hip arthroscopy, open surgical dislocation and peri-acetabular hip osteotomy, being the only fully fellowship-trained surgeon in this area in Singapore.
In addition, Dr Poh also does complex knee arthroscopy and osteotomy, cartilage resurfacing, and complex shoulder arthroscopy, open shoulder reconstruction and shoulder arthroplasty. Dr Poh has been invited as regional and international faculty, and is active in training surgeons from around Asia through fellowship and visitation programmes, in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine and Hip Preservation.
