Ms Pang Nguk Lan is a Registered Nurse with 20 years of Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience and currently heads the Department of Quality, Safety and Risk Management, and Medical Administration at KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH). She holds a Masters Degree in Science, Healthcare Management, and is a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager. She is also the Deputy Campus Director of Patient Safety and Clinical Quality and the Programme Director of Patient Safety Network Programme at KKH.
Ms Pang serves as a member of the National Medication Safety Committee and Institution Risk Officer. She is a Faculty Member of the Singapore Healthcare Improvement Network, a collaborative of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
At the regional and international level, she is an Executive Member of Asia Pacific Paediatric Nursing Association and serves as Secretary to the Advisory Board of the Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Foundation. She is also a Member of the PICU-Nurse-International Network.
