Dr ONG Lin Yin Deputy Head and Senior Consultant, Department of

Dr Ong Lin Yin is the Deputy
Head and Senior Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at the KK Women's and Children's
Hospital (KKH). Her subspecialty interests are in Minimally Invasive and
Thoracic surgery. Dr Ong's Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship year was spent in Paris at
Hôpital Necker Infant Malades. She was placed under the tutelage of Professor
Yann Revillon, a pioneer in Paediatric Thoracic Surgery and a strong proponent
of Minimally Invasive surgery.
Dr Ong is also actively
involved in teaching and education, holding the positions of Clinical Faculty
for the General Surgery Residency Programme, as well as Advanced Specialty
Training Director for KKH Paediatric Surgery advanced surgery
trainees.
In the past year, she
has been a part of the SingHealth Operating Theatre (OT) Optimisation Taskforce and was the
Clinician Lead in the KKH OT Dashboard team.
