Dr Lim Chee Hooi is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH) since 2014. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor for Duke-NUS Medical School, and Senior Clinical Lecturer for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Prior to joining SGH, he was trained and has practised in the United Kingdom. His specialist interest is therapeutic (Endoscopic Submucosal Resection) Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy. He is an Accredited Screening Colonoscopist by Joint Advisory Group on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy to perform Screening Derived Colonoscopy in England’s Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. Dr Lim was awarded Doctor of Medicine at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2008 for his research into Clinical Implications of Gastrointestinal Epithelial Dysplasia in Surveillance Programme. He has a significant number of publications on a spectrum of clinical gastroenterology-related subjects.

Dr Lim is a MRCP (UK) examiner. His other clinical interests include General Gastroenterology, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Quality and Safety in Medical Care.
