Dr Jacqueline TAN Siau Woon 

Consultant, Department of Hand Surgery,

Dr Jacqueline Tan is currently a Consultant with the Department of Hand Surgery, Singapore General Hospital and serves as the Director of Micro-Reconstruction Service. Her areas of special interests are in early and late brachial plexus reconstruction, peripheral nerve disorders and reconstructive microsurgery of the extremities (including free tissue transfers, free functioning muscle transfers and vascularised bone grafts).

Dr Tan has published widely in the field of hand surgery, with numerous first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is also active in academic teaching and holds concurrent teaching appointments of Adjunct Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, as well as, Senior Clinical Lecturer with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is also involved as teaching faculty in various AO Trauma Courses, as well as, Basic Instructional Courses in Microsurgery. Recently, she has chaired the first AO Trauma Asia Pacific Masters Course – Hand and Wrist with Anatomical Specimens.
