Ms GOH Soo Cheng

Ms Goh is a Principal Medical Social Worker at the Singapore General Hospital(SGH). She is currently supporting the renal transplant team and also manages domestic violence cases. She provides clinical supervision to staff in the department, and is also a mentor in the Allied Health Division Mentoring Programme. Ms Goh oversees the training arm of the Medical Social Services department at SGH and is actively involved in curriculum development and running of training programmes within and outside the department. She is a faculty member of SGH’s Postgraduate Allied Health Institute and had been appointed teaching faculty for SingHealth Residency’s “Interpersonal and Communication Skills Competency” workshops since 2013. Ms Goh has been appointed Associate in Education with the Academic Medicine Education Institute (AM•EI) in Duke-NUS Medical School and facilitates the “Bed-side Teaching – Focus on Micro-skills” workshop under AM•EI’s faculty development programmes. Ms Goh is also a part-time lecturer with Department of Social Work at National University of Singapore.
