Dr Crystal Lim is a Master Medical Social Worker at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) with aclinical speciality in transplantation social work, bioethics, family-focused organ donor support, and family violence intervention. She attained her Ph.D. Social Work (2014) and Master of Arts in Bioethics (2015) from University of Pittsburgh. She also holds a Master of Social Work (2001) from University of Washington and Bachelor of Arts (Social Work) from National University of Singapore (1991). Her outstanding clinical services has been recognised with awards such as: SGH's Allied Health Division Trail Blazer Award—Clinical (2012); SingHealth Group Chief Executive Officer Service Excellence Award, Allied Health Division, (2008); the national Outstanding Social Worker Award (2007); Healthcare Humanity Award (2006).
