Dr Camilla Wong has 20 years of experience in hospital practice and is currently Director for the Allied Health Division at Sengkang Health (SKH), and continues to practice as a critical care pharmacist. She is also Deputy Director at the SingHealth Group Allied Health office, overseeing talent management and the development of career pathways and competency frameworks for the cluster’s Allied Health professionals. She is also a member of a number of SingHealth corporate level committees including the Innovation and Quality Management Forum.

At SKH, Dr Wong has been integral in the planning of the infrastructure, processes and services for the various Allied Health services. Beyond this, she is also a member of the medical board and clinical quality committees, and serves as a catalyst for collaborative partnerships between the various stakeholders.

At the national level, Dr Wong has been appointed by the Singapore Ministry of Health to sit on the Pharmacist Specialist Accreditation Board and by the Health Sciences Authority to sit on the Product Vigilance Advisory Committee. She was instrumental in developing the nation’s pharmacy career pathway and is currently taking the lead to harmonise a competency framework at the national level. She is a past president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore (PSS) and has received a number of awards including the PSS’s Professor Lucy Wan, Outstanding Pharmacist of the Year Award, Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Ishidate Award for Hospital Pharmacy, Group Chief Executive Officer SingHealth Excellence Award for Allied Health and the National Day Awards, Commendation Medal.
