Ms Melissa Low Senior Staff Nurse Department of Emergency Medicine Singapore General Hospital

Miss Melissa Low is a Senior Staff Nurse who has contributed her many years of service to Emergency medicine and as one of the pioneer nurse in DEM, she sees managing Emergency patient as a great challenges in her work. Her vast clinical knowledge and exposure in the critical situation allows her to see things in different perceptive for better outcome to her patients. She contributes her professional growth by guiding her staff to provide quality care to the patient who deserves the best. She developed her clinical quality by looking into improving work processes as well as introduced Evidence based practices to implement changes that influence nursing practices.

Presently she is working together with Prof Marcus Ong on a research titled “The Top 10 Frequent Attenders in the Emergency Department in Year 2010”.
