A Chartered Accountant (CA, Singapore) with over 25 years of experience in public healthcare finance, Christopher has built his career across Singapore General Hospital (11 years) and Sengkang General Hospital (14 years). He is passionate about ensuring the financial sustainability of accessible and affordable healthcare for Singaporeans.As part of the pioneer team that planned and built Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), he played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the Hospital's financial capabilities, ensuring its long-term operational sustainability.Beyond his strategic and operational responsibilities at SKH, he holds several key Cluster (SingHealth) roles, including Co-Chairman of the Enterprise Resource Planning Steering Committee, Co-Chairman of the Cluster Charging Workgroup, Domain Lead (Finance) for the Digital SingHealth Steering Committee, and Finance Lead for the Singhealth Cluster Supply Chain Operations. He also serves as SingHealth's representative on the Project Management Committee for the National Billing System and is a member of both the Cluster IT Council and the Information Technology Committee.Effective from 1 March 2025, he was appointed CFO (Digital Health), SingHealth, concurrent with his appointment as CFO of SKH. In this capacity, he leads efforts to enhance financial sustainability and optimise the operational efficiency of IT systems to improve care delivery, with responsibility for strategic financial planning, resource utilisation, and leveraging IT capabilities to support these objectives.
