Mr Richard Lieu

Richard is a medical technology innovator with over 12 years of medical device development and commercialisation experience. Currently, as Head of Technology at Vivo Surgical, he oversees each of the company’s product lines with responsibilities spanning innovation, R&D, and operations.

Headquartered in Singapore with offices in China and Thailand, Vivo Surgical is a patient-focussed, clinician-driven medical device developer and manufacturer pioneering a novel endoscopic surgical robot for complex endoluminal surgeries.

Richard holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from Paris VI and is a named inventor on various granted technology and design patents.
