In these rapidly changing times, leaders across the health and care systems are designing new ways to work that are improving safety, patient experience, and fulfillment in the workforce. We will share ways to integrate AI into care processes, and describe new and powerful examples of co-producing care with patients and our communities.

HM 14 - Listening-A Powerful Tool for Leaders and Carers
In this session, participants will learn new ways to lead and care, including practical ways to listen and co-produce best outcomes for our patients. Research demonstrates the power of the voice of the patient in design and care delivery, and participants will learn tools to measure best outcomes. This session will share ideas from the “What Matters to You?” movement and the global work on “Kindness in Healthcare” that is inspiring leaders and carers worldwide with new tools and ideas for making best care and improving value in care. Case studies on listening with staff to improve joy, reduce burnout and build teams will provide ways for all participants to work more effectively for best outcomes.
