Ms Chay has served as Chief Operating Officer of National Neuroscience since 2021. In addition to this role, Cass also oversees the SingHealth Operations Shared Service - Workplace Safety.
Starting her 20‐year healthcare career first as a data analyst at the Singapore General Hospital, Cass moved on to corporate roles such as Strategic and Performance Planning and assumed headship roles in Clinical Operations Management in Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital.

Operationalising Staff Protection in SingHealth
In 2022, MOH initiated top level support for prevention of abuse and harassment in healthcare, from then till 2024, the SingHealth Anti-abuse Committee have operationalised the recommendations from the Tripartite Framework to establish a staff protection function in SingHealth institutions. The presentation will share on the critical elements that had to be set in place to make that happen.
