Advanced Endoscopy Workshop

This Advanced Endoscopy Workshop is primarily an introduction to advanced skills in interventional procedures, instruments used for interventional endoscopy and common problems encountered during endoscopy. Expert endoscopists within the institution will share technical tips and tricks as well as their experiences via didactic lectures and hands-on practical sessions.

Course Objective

Participants will gain understanding on advanced interventional endoscopy techniques. At the end of the workshop, trainees will be able to demonstrate advanced endoscopic techniques and acquire skills and knowledge in handling the instruments used for interventonal endoscopy.

Target Audience

• Strongly recommended for residents who are equipped with basic endoscopy techniques and skills
• Residents/Medical officers in General Surgery, Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Internal Medicine
• House Officers, Medical Officers
• Clinicians who seek to equip themselves with more advanced endoscopy techniques
