Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor Course

The ACLS instructor course is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of teaching the Advanced Cardiac Life Support courses. ACLS Instructors are expected to have a firm working knowledge and understanding of the ACLS material.

Course Outline

The ACLS Instructor course is an interactive 4 hours course with the following modules:

Roles and Responsibilities of an ACLS Instructor
Teaching and Critique of Errors
Principles of adult Learning and learning profiles
Update of ACLS Protocol
Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Skills Assessment

Eligibility

A valid ACLS Certificate AND a valid BCLS+AED Certificate from Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) accredited training centre
Staff Registrar, Senior Residents & above
