Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course


ACLS refers to a set of clinical interventions for the urgent treatment of life threatening medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest. The intensive 4.5 hour course trains the medical professionals with the most up to date ACLS guidelines and skills to deploy the clinical interventions.


Course Outline

The following topics are covered in the ACLS Course:

  • Advanced airway management
  • Recognition of cardiac arrest rhythms & arrhythmias
  • Management of medical emergencies
    – Respiratory Arrest, Witnessed VF, Persistent VT, PEA, Asystole, Bradycardia, Acute Coronary Syndromes
  • Pharmacology of commonly utilized cardiovascular drugs & their administration

  • Medical professionals
  • Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate
