Rodrick is a Class 2 para table tennis athlete who began the sport in 2021 following a C5/C6 spinal cord injury in 2019.

What started as a way to stay active has since grown into a competitive sporting journey alongside his full-time career. Through the sport, he has found structure, community, and opportunities to continually challenge himself beyond rehabilitation.

Drawing from his lived experience, Rodrick hopes to share a personal perspective on the role that sport can play in rebuilding life after spinal cord injury, and how healthcare professionals can support that journey beyond the clinical setting.
