
Undergraduate Elective Programmes
(Clinical Attachments)
Students will be able to observe a choice of NDCS signature/subspeciality programmes to see how dentistry is practiced in a clinical setting at the institution. They will be presented with a wide variety of cases and treatment procedures occurring in the specialist clinics, as well as day surgeries at the General Anaesthesia (GA) & Local Anaesthesia (LA) operating theatres.
Duration:
A minimum of 3 days to a maximum of 1 week.
The attachment will be conducted Mondays – Fridays.
Important to Note:
Applications should be submitted 3 months in advance of the proposed period of posting to be considered.
Placements are not offered during these periods:
- The last 2 weeks in December
- The first week in January
- The last week of June
- The first week of July
Applicants must currently be a student of a dental school.
