Dr Yeo Jo-Anne is an anaesthetist, mother of 3, and pragmatic environmentalist. She has been working on healthcare sustainability initiatives within Changi General Hospital (CGH).

An Australian trained anaesthetist, Dr Yeo is the Clinical Sustainability Lead for CGH and is the CGH Institutional Sustainability Officer for SingHealth’s Office of Sustainable Health. She has led initiatives, organised conferences including Singapore Healthcare Sustainability Symposium 2025, published and received research grants in sustainability as well as spoken on various platforms to advocate for improved healthcare sustainability. Heading into 2026, CGH has adopted the SingHealth Green Operating Theatre Guidelines and is piloting hospital wide initiatives to improve the hospital’s carbon footprint to improve on the Honourable Mention awarded by the International Hospital Federation for sustainability.
